Title: A Brief Introduction of Chromium GEM-X: The New Version Kits for Single Cell Sequencing

Speaker: Mr. Weijian FAN (Technical Support Engineer at HK Yuxiang Technology Co.)

Introduction:

Single-cell sequencing has become a cornerstone of modern biological research, offering powerful insights into cellular heterogeneity, lineage, and gene regulation. Among the leading technologies, 10x Genomics provides a versatile and robust portfolio of single-cell solutions—covering 3’ and 5’ gene expression profiling, FLEX for fixed samples, and ATAC-seq for chromatin accessibility analysis.

In this talk, Weijian FAN, a technical support engineer from Yuxiang Technology Co., Ltd., the authorized distributor of 10x Genomics, will provide a concise overview of these core single-cell platforms. The session will highlight the performance of the latest kit version (GEM-X), emphasizing its high performance, stability, and flexibility.

Sharing 2: (14:30-15:00)

Title: From Suspension to Sequencing: Best Practice Training for Single-Cell Experiments

Speaker: Dr. Zhenghui Quan (Senior FAS at 10x Genomics Inc.)

Introduction:

Generating reliable and high-resolution single-cell data requires not only cutting-edge technology but also a deep understanding of the best experimental practice. To help researcher obtaining a better SC data and enhance experimental practice skills, Dr. Quan, the Field Application Scientist at 10x Genomics Inc., will provide a complete workflow training of single cell suspension, sample optimization and etc. Users will obtain more strategies in single cell sequencing experiment  by the abundant protocols in this sharing.

Sharing 3: (15:00-15:40)

Title: Exploring Spatial Transcriptomics with 10x Genomics: Visium vs. Xenium in Action

Speaker: Mr. Yuhai Jiang (STA at 10x Genomics Inc)

Introduction:

Spatial transcriptomics is rapidly advancing the frontiers of biological and medical research, enabling deeper insights into gene expression patterns and cellular interactions within their native tissue contexts. It has been applied in the span from tumor microenvironment studies to developmental biology and beyond. To accelerate researches' new discoveries, 10x Genomics offers two state-of-the-art spatial transcriptomics platforms—Visium and Xenium—each tailored to different resolution needs and experimental goals.

In this session,  Mr. Yuhai Jiang, Scientific Technical Advisor at 10x Genomics, will share an in-depth overview of both platforms. The session will showcase the distinct capabilities of Visium and Xenium, along with real-world application examples, to help researchers make informed choices in selecting the most suitable tool for their spatial studies.
